CVC has been selling recumbents since 1995. We are authorized dealers for a number of brands that we feel will work for all different riders who want to experience a better way of riding. You can ride for fun, commute to work, exercise, ride with your kids or dogs, be in a parade: you’ll find lots of riding opportunities when it’s comfortable and fun. Ride to a park concert on a trike: you have your seat with headrest and you’re no higher than someone seated in a lawn chair.
We have sold a number of trikes for riders in the annual San Francisco AIDs 545-mile ride: riders tell us they enjoy the ride so much more than riders on 2-wheel bikes or even 2-wheel recumbents. You have a built-in chair (some with ergonomic lumbar support) and neck support. At the end of the day, trike riders are ready to party when the other bikers are exhausted and suffering. We have stationary trainers for training indoors or out, rain or shine, day or night, out of the wind: an option to training in a gym. Some of our trikes are just under 30” wide at widest point and just under 30 pounds: combined with high-quality components and lifetime frame warranty for original owner, this is a great combination.
